Li Mengneng, composer and poet. He graduated from the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris and the Conservatoire National Supérieure de Musique de Lyon in composition with the first place rank. He studied under Chen Qigang, Philippe Hurel, Edith Canat de Chizy, Anthony Girard, Denis Dufour, François Roux, Michele Tadini, Michel Merlet, Luca Antignani and other composers. He has won the 2012 French SACEM Award in ENMP, the 2014 French Boulanger Foundation Award, the 2016 French Saint-Christophe Young Composer Award, the 2017 French Salabert Composition Award, and has been selected as a young composer of the National Center for the Performing Arts many times in the NCPA young composer plan. He has collaborated with the Multilatérale Ensemble, Les Métaboles Chorus Ensemble, Alternance Chamber Ensemble, National Center for the Performing Arts Orchestra, Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra and other institutions in Europe and Asia, as well as with musicians from all over the world. Many orchestral works have premiered at the National Center for the Performing Arts, and he has served as the music director of many films, documentaries, poetry plays or other plays.

French composer Philippe Hurel once commented that Li Mengneng "has extremely keen hearing and outstanding control of the orchestra. His music is full of real breathing and natural charm, and his works are full of poetry."
